Before, she opted for designer clothes - but has toned down. Granted, she will wear the red bottoms when needed. Makeup is always light, often brown eyeliner and a light gloss. She's often at work and in the ocean too much to worry about it. Since moving to England, she's matured a lot. Ivey is allowing herself to be herself without the need to flaunt her money. One could say she's downgraded, dressing in more comfortable but still stylish clothes. She still loves a lot of color and mixing patterns, something that the crowd has shown distaste for. While strong academically and in making connections, Ivey still isn't the best mentally. She finds herself obsessing about Bambi and what her former friend is up to. Almost a constant social media check-up or sending texts that will never be responded to. It's changed a few of her current relationships, to the point she was given an ultimatum. While a difficult change, the need to text and stalk has lessened. But it's hard, especially when Ivey can see the shadow of her friend a few chairs away. Her parents always joked that they must've been carried to shore on a whale in a former life. Coming from a wealthy background of two very successful parents, Ivey and her siblings grew up in a lavish lifestyle. Their home wasn't as massive as some of the other mansions but still stood out. Mainly due to Alice's eclectic design. Something that Ivey still carries. Despite the loving home life, the image was always at the forefront. Ivey ended up in a higher-up type of school, uniforms and all. The school provided a challenge for her, something she didn't know she needed until she began the science and math classes. She met her friend, Bambi, shortly after transferring in. The two were true bosom buddies. There were no secrets between the two, except maybe their so-called crushes that were rumored. While it was false on Bambi's end, Ivey couldn't deny wondering what life would be if they were more. But she was a firm believer that friendship was more important than romance. Even after failed relationships with other people, Bambi and Ivey always had each other. No matter what. There wasn't much of a change between the two friends until they were high school age. Ivey didn't quite know what changed in Bambi, but she brushed it aside as it was most likely nerves. It also didn't feel that huge of a change to be worried about it. Still thick as thieves, the two best friends decided to attend a school in England together. It was the two of them against the world, and it felt like nothing could change. Well, so they thought. The change that Ivey had wondered about, became a full-fledged monster. Light banter became threats and insults. Ivey hated it. While she knew she wasn't a saint herself, the idea of going that far to be known - just wasn't it. She had voiced her options to Bambi, but it never connected. Ivey had thought about giving an ultimatum, but it wasn't worth it. She drifted into the so-called nerd group. During her first year, Ivey began noticing a lot of fast-paced changes in her body. Changes that were easily picked out by Bambi's new friends. After constant lab work and medical appointments, Ivey was diagnosed with PCOS and Endometriosis. It explained the awful pain and slow changes in her body that she had noticed a few years ago. Bambi doesn't know any of this information of course, as Ivey knows it will most likely be used as fuel for something that Ivey doesn't want to be a part of. Despite having a good group of friends around her, and doing well in classes - Ivey is finding Bambi a constant distraction. As well as the constant verbal attacks from those to whom she did nothing. Fearing that she will lose Bambi forever, Ivey is having a hard time finding hope in the situation. She misses their former life and relationship, dreaming about wanting to turn back time. Making one of the hardest decisions, Ivey has decided to transfer schools.
